Hi
I am 20 years old
I have not had my periods for 6 months. I am studying and under a bit of stress due to my studies but I have had this problem for a while (ie irregular periods). It is also a problem that runs in the family.
I am married. My sex drive is relatively normal and I engage in regular sexual activity with my spouse (with a condom).
I suffer from exzema and I think that my lack of periods is contributing to my exzema.
What can do to get back my periods?
Thanks

Of course, due diligence, make sure you are not pregnant. Condoms fail.
Second, you can try eating soy product such as tofu or drinking beer. Both of those will raise your estrogen level.
As a third alternative, you could always take birthcontrol for a while. That will fix the problem.
If you are under stress or if you have a very low body fat, both of these things can cause you to quit your period.

Please don't drink beer. If there is a possibility of pregnancy you don't want to be indulging in alcohol.

Now, have you taken a pregnancy test? If not I suggest you do so using first morning urine. If that is negative you need to see a doctor for a blood test and have your hormone levels checked.
