Whose name(s) is/are on the lease? Why are they in your home and you are not?

I had a relationship with her. Its ended in jan.08. I told her I need her to leave but she has not left. I went to stay with family and told her she has 2 months to find a place. I don't want to live in the same house with her as she will think I want to be with her. Her anger. I thought it would be best to give her 60 days to leave. I thought I was doing the right thing, as we have been together for a while, I didn't want to put her on the street.

Most states only have a 30-day notice; you're being generous by giving her 60 days.

If she refuses to leave after the 60-day notice has expired, then you'll have to file for eviction to get her out of the house.
