I just ripped out the walls in the basement and I notice some moisture the sheetrock was damped on the bottom and falling apart anyway I notice a crack running down what can I do to help fill it in and control moisture

Concrete or cement block? Your best fix is from the outside. Get 3 bids from pros to see what they think can be done and also see their pricing. Then you can make an educated decision on what do do. Anything done on the inside of the wall will only hold for a short time before it leaks again behind your new wall.

Growing up,we had cinder walls that had many leaks,every method of treating this from the inside eventually failed.Everything from caulking the entire base and the painting with waterproofing paint, many times.

Years into this problem,we had a trencher come in,dig all around the base of the house(where it leaked) installed drainage tiles,black coated(which was the preferred method in the '70's)and plastic covered the black(tar), back-filled with stone.

Sounds like a real job and it was!

The leak can either be addressed from the outside like we had to do,or from the inside,where you might end up eventually having mold issues.

I vote for what was already suggested, get 3 bids and let them tell you what they think as to the problem/solution.
