Can a felony carry a weapon on school propety be reduced to a misdemeanor
In this day in age it's very doubtful that this can be reduced since this is considered a zero tolerance crime.

No, but they could reduce the charges to something like tresspass or disturb the peace.
But don't expect it,

Court appointed defender has nothing to do with anything. I've seen some really good public defenders and some very bad "top notch" criminal Attorneys.
As J9 said - zero tolerance so my vote is no.

With all of the school shootings recently, this is taken as a very serious offense. I went to nursing school with a girl who was a police officer. She could not carry her gun on campus unless it was in an official capacity.

Hello l:
Sounds like you've been convicted already. Once that's done, it's DONE!
