I'm laying rectangular tile in a brick pattern in a walk-in-shower. I don't know how to make the grout lines align with the ceiling and two side walls with this rectangular tile. Should the back wall and ceiling grout lines line up continuing the brick pattern? Should I forget about the two side walls having grout lines that align with the back wall and celing? If have to choose, which walls should have the grout lines align, the back wall and celing forgetting about the sides, or the side walls and celing forgetting about the back wall?
Thanks

I've done the ceiling in a tub area diagonally. Looks nice. Think about it.

KISS is right on. No grout lines to follow.
Good luck

Generally I wouldn't get too worked up about having the grout lines match, you won't be able to match the lines on all three walls. Generally speaking I try to keep the view from the entry of a room as sharp as possible. So if looking into the shower from the bathroom door is the view, lineup whichever wall you will be looking directly at.
