My house has aluminum siding. The side and back are in good condition. The front is dirty especially near the front door. Is there a way to make it look nice without redoing it to vinyl? I got an estimate for 14K to do a ranch type of house (12.5 and .042 thickness). I have a lot of windows and only the below/above window area will need long siding. But with 12.5, those area will have seems, is that OK? At 14K, is this a reasonable price? Is this a deep profit margin price?

If the siding is in good shape you can paint it. Also pressure wash (under low pressure) to clean it. You may have to use a primer to get the paint to stick properly but it should look like new provided the siding is good. Do you know how old your current siding is?

I live in my house over 10 years. The siding has to be between 15-20 years old.
