I have a relative who has always had a kind of temper, one minnute she would be fine the next she would fly off the handle, be yelling and screaming then she would storm out of the room. After she came back in she would act like nothing had happened and wonder why everyone was still stood there shocked. She has pushedsome of my family to the point where they have had her pinned against a wall. She had seemed to carm down but recently she thrreatened to burn her parants hose down while they are asleep and I am worried that she will hurt them. So was wondering how/if it would be possible to get her committed. She has seen her doctor but they just say it anger management, but I know people with anger management issues and this is not it.

You're just not going to be able to do that - especially when her own doctor doesn't think she's nuts.

You can't just go committing people to psychiatric wards!

I suspect she needs to see a psychologist, not a doctor as she may have an undiagnosed personality disorder.

Anger management might have to come after she's been to see the psych.
