My heaters fan turns on then the second fan comes on the thing lights the natural gas then 3 seconds later the gas shuts off. It does this over and over again. And the house is not warm enough yet per the thermostat. It is a 14 year old day and night heater is this a fairly good brand yes or no?

Clean the flame sensor if so equipped.
