I have a wart on the shaft of my penis. It is on the top side and about 1-2 inches from the base. It has been there for about 7 years and it has slowly increased in size. It is now about half the size of a 1 cent coin and it's slightly raised. It is not painful, nor is there any irritation. I have no other warts anywhere on my body. I have no other medical condition.

I have not sought any help for this previously or consulted my GP out of embarrassment.

I wish to remove or cure it discreetly, either through the use of a lotion or by some natural treatment. The alternative is to have it removed by surgery. I would rather avoid this if there is a less severe solution available.

Any advice is appreciated.

You cannot successfully remove this wart yourself being in such a sensitive area of your anatomy. YOu need to see a doctor as this is genital warts and could be contagious. Having been there for 7 years the roots have embedded into your system and are very deeply entrenched.

Don't be embarrassed. Doctors have seen much worse, believe me.

Genital warts are quite contagious. I hope you haven't been having unprotected sex.

There is no way of removing a wart of this size discreetly on your own. You'll need to have it lasered off.

It could well be something serous, men will have to get their "private" areas checked and looked at all of their life by doctors who care less about it expect to heal you.

Go to the doctor and stop being silly
