Are there any organizations that take hand and power tools for donations? I'm moving from a house to a condo and am giving up my home remodeling to start enjoying my weekends casually. I have a shop full of tolls in good working condition and would hate to just throw them out. Thanks for any advice.

Have you asked the religious group of your choice

Also there is the salvation army or goodwill. There are many that would take them. Or you could liquidate them through a auction house or garage sale and then give to several charities.

Why don't you take your more expensive ones and sell on eBay?

You could even sell as lots.

Im not so sure about eBay because of policy changes I have heard of. Like if you use paypal you have to have 100 min positive feedback before they treat the transaction as normal otherwise they want to hold the money until you either get positive feedback from the buyer or you prove to them that the item was received. Sounds like a big hassle.
Also you have to wait for personal checks to clear and even money orders because of so much fraud. Since Op wants to move eBay may not work for them.
