What is the cost to run a ceiling fan for 24 hours (either $$ or kilowatt hours)?

How many watts does the fan use?
Will you be using a light? If so, how many watts is the light?
What is your rate for electric per kiliwatt hours?
Generally, a fan doesn't consume that much electricity, if I had to guess, I would say maybe a couple of dollars per month.
I never was good in math class, but lets say that the fan usese 100 watts. That's one tenth of a kilowatt, my electric rate is now right at 8 cents per kilowatt hour, I figure it should cost about $0.008 cents per hour to run the fan. But that's just a generic figure.
That comes up to $5.76 per 30 days.

Depends also on the speed of the fan. On high, most fans will use 70-100 watts. On low, closer to 15-20.
Ceiling fans use very little current to run.
