I have a single file of 7gb and have to put it in my pendrive of 8gb but the problem is that its FAT32 so I can't put it so I have to convert the FAT32 in NTFS so that I can put the data... I tried to convert the format by formating the pendrive but to no avail.is there any other way to convert the format of pendrive from FAT32 to NTFS?

Let me know

There is a command line CONVERT command. See How to convert a FAT16 volume or a FAT32 volume to an NTFS file system in Windows XP (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307881). Why didn't formatting work?

I don't know how long it will take for an 8 GB drive. I suspect it depends on the number of files on the drive and the write speed of the drive. Post back if you timed it, I'm curious.
