How do I set correct time on my HP Laserjet 6L printer? My operating system is XP. My printer prints a time but is several hours off.

Some HP printers allow the time to be set from the control panel. The 6L does not appear to be such a model. Additionally, a search did not find any reference to configuring the printer time in the User Manual (http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/bpl03394/bpl03394.pdf). If the time being printed is in a page header or footer like would be generated by a web browser when printing, the time used would be the computer's. Adjustment for daylight savings or time zone may need to be made by whatever application you are printing from.
