5. This gentleman was always a bit of a drip (4,3) 6. Fast track to a chilling place (5,7)
7. This waterbird has a remit (3,7,5) 8. Nobody wants these OAPS (2,7,3,3,3)
9. A home for this Assie lady (1,4,4,5)

I have a few of them figured out:

3 = "Meet Me in St. Louis"
4 = "Enigma"
6 = "Arctic Express"

For 9, you wrote "Assie," but did you mean "Ausie," as in "Australian?"

And a note for my US brethren who may be trying to figure these out: "OAPS" means "old age pensioners."
