Does your Check Engine Light (CEL) come on and go off normally, when your turn the ignition switch to ON (Position II)?

If the CEL works normally, replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil:

I took off the bulb on the cel but it was on when I did the engine and tranny swap when I first got the car due to a blown engine I have checked the trouble code and it gives me code 8 10 and 14. And I have changed the air intake control valve and the air intake temperature and have resolderd the main relay.

If I had to replace the coil and ignition control module how would I do that

For a Code 8, you will need to replace the distributor housing--the TDC Sensor is not repairable:

Only use a genuine Honda distributor housing, since over 50% of new aftermarket distributors have not worked at AMHD. It's fine to install aftermarket ICMs and coils in the new housing, to save money. The link I gave you, above, explains how to install the ICM and coil. You may even want to shop salvage for a complete genuine Honda distributor--it should run around $55. The bad distributor is why your Civic doesn't stay running.
