I had to Google that one, wondering what weirdo geometric shape uses an X.

It would help, if you want to keep using x for times, to please write it A = L x W.

And no need to keep posting the same thing over and over again.

A = L x W

A stands for Area
L stands for Length
W stands for Width.

The area of a rectangle is given by that formula.

If you want to find diameter from area, you need another formula.

Area\ of\ Circle = \pi r^2

Where pi, (\pi) is a constant having a value of approximately 3.14.
r is the radius of the circle.

The diameter is given by multiplying the radius by 2.
