I have applied for some 6 companies

TBH, that is NOT enough.
At this point you should have applied to 10 TIMES that many at least and had interviews at about a dozen.

Time to change your tactics.

I remember one summer, many years ago, when I applied for about 34 teaching positions. I didn't get a single one of them. I wound up working outside of the teaching field and later landed a teaching job.

You just have to keep trying!
