I'm 19yr old and I'm wondering if I can legally drive my car, I have a full UK licence and insurance. Its just that the cover started on the 20/2/10 and I never got documents through in the post... if I drove my car would it be legal?

WHo are you insured with, as some companies now don't send actual documents, but they are printable online.

I'm with vauxhall insurance, They sent an email saying I would receive them in the post.I think I can print them online as well, I'm not sure if it's the correct documents as this is my first time buying insurance

Can you provide immediate cover?
Yes, subject to terms & conditions and providing that you have a valid debit/credit card. If you choose to pay by Direct Debit we will require a deposit, payable by debit/credit card.
I found this on the FAQ insurers site, I paid by direct debit

All good then.
As long as they are taking payments, you're covered.

You explain the situation to them, but they can easily find out of you are insured.
Don't get pulled over is even easier ;)

Thanks for the advice... I'm a careful driver that's why I want to make sure I'm coverd because I don't want my licence taken from me... Thanks again
