I'm trying to find a translation for my fathers name to Sanskrit. His name was 'Shruti' pronounce 'shru-tee'.

I found this translation: श्रुति

The only thing is that it references it as being a female name. Does Sanskrit have both masculine and feminine versions of words similar to french and spanish? If so, what is the male way to write it?
