Had new water heater installed last night and I checked the kitchen sink while plumber was here and everything seemed to be OK. After plumber left my daughter went to wash her face and water sprayed out in a few forceful burst but then stopped all together from both hot and cold faucets and showers in both of our bathrooms. We only have cold water in the kitchen and nothing else anywhere else in the house. Please help, the plumber won't return my calls and we don't know what to do...

Check for any valves that may have been turned off near the water heater. Remove aerators on sink faucets and see if you have water with them removed. If you do, remove the shower head on the shower and see if you get water with it removed.

First call the Better Business Bureau and report this guy.
