I have a 1990 Chevy truck with a 350tbi. I have replaced the ignition module twice within a year period. Now today it will not start again, is there something that could cause the ignition module to go out. Should I try buying a new coil. Is there anyway I can test the coil and ignition module.

ICMs can be tested on a Well's machine at AutoZone. However, the results, from my experience, are not reliable. If the ICM tests bad, it is really bad; however, if it tests fine, it may or may not work in your vehicle.

Testing coils is pretty much the same--they don't simulate the load (heat) in actual use. Therefore, I recommend replacing ICMs and coils every 120,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first.

The distributer shaft could have some wear on it causing it to wobble,
This will mess up everything inside it.
You might check on the price of replacing the whole thing.
Could supprise you on how cheap it is.check at O'reillys
