Are you getting pictures taken? Are you having a reception or get together afterwards?

I don't think you need a wedding dress per se but a nice outfit, something special, something new, that would be nice. After all, it is a special day.

Even a pant suit or a summer dress (if the weather is right) would be nice.

In the end it's your day and up to you, do what makes you feel comfortable.
