Hi,
We are moving are washing machine to an outside cuboard with a normal outisde tap and wondered whether we can just attach hose and run and all will work?? Or do we need equip/adaptors etc?? thanks

For safety though you should have a ground fault circuit interrupter for your receptacle.
And you need to keep the bend in the drain hose above the top of the washer for the pump to work properly.
Make sure you have a good hose for the water supply, washers can produce an effect called water hammer when they shut off during the cycle, and the hose could burst.
This is doubly important if your planning to run a hose for the hot water also.
Turn off all water when done, wouldn't want to flood the neighbours would we?

Kuxj gave you excellent instructions. The only thing I can add would be to install a hose check valve, *see image) on the washer hose next to the washer. If you don't install a check valve all the dirty water left bin the hose will drain back into the washer, (and onto your clean clothes) when the pump stops. Install the check valve. Good luck, Tom
