My ex-boyfriend who was in prison for 2 1/2 years for violation of a protective order and false report of in incident was released on parole on 11/22/08.. his sentence would have been up 8/28/09 with 3 years probation. He and I were both charged with disordely conduct on 8/4/09.. he was put back in jail... he was not released until 9/14/09 because he couldn't post bond until then. My case was dismissed.. he has a long criminal record.. I do not. He plead guilty on 10/16/09 and was given 6 months probation. I just found out the he as arrested on 2/2/10 for Disordly Conduct and 3rd degree Assault... he beat up his new girlfriend and put her in the hospital. Will they violate his probation and put him back in jail? What can I do to plea that the courts get him off the streets before he abuses another women?

No one knows what the sentence will be; contact the DA and tell him/her what you know of the past history (which he/she may already know) and what you can PROVE. Otherwise (unless you have grounds to have him arrested) there is little you can do to get him off the streets.

That's the job of the Court.

Your threads should be combined - it's the same issue. https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/criminal-law/first-violation-probation-442600.html#post2209606
