How do I unlock my keyboard on my gateway 7426? The mouse works but none of the keys.

I don't know of any locking buttons on keyboards, but you may have either a software or hardware issue. When it is starting up try to get into the BIOS, if it lets you, you have a software issue. There may be a soft lock within the OS but, unless there is an apparent button or switch I would guess you have either a software or hardware issue.
