I have lived in the same apartment for about 3 years with a roommate. Recently our lease was up for renewal, she signed it and I did not. I was planning on moving out but she signed without my knowledge. Am I responsible to continue to pay half of the rent?

Was she aware you didn't want to renew?

You should be able to give 30 days notice and move only owing up to your vacate date.

I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment with a roommate, both of our names are on the original lease. Recently she renewed our lease without me being present so therefore I did not sign anything.
