This movie came out in late 1980's or early 1990's and involves reincarnation: A young man drowns trying to save passengers in a car that drove off a bridge into the water. The man goes to heaven where he meets a girl. The two have a soul agreement to meet up with each other on earth in their next lifetimes and have a relationship. The movie chronicles their journey in trying to meet each other.
