I have a Craftsman's 29 inch 9.0 horsepower snow blower. A neighbor's newspaper got caught in the augur. After removing the newspaper, the augur doesn't work. The power drive works OK and the sheer pins are OK. I thought it might be the drive belt but wouldn't the drive belt control both the augur and the power drive?

Most but not all the times there are two separate belts. Without model #'s I cannot look it up, or attempt to anyway.
