You can enter US as visitor but don't stay for months in each trip..

If you already have B1/B2 you may enter US while processing K-3 but if you apply for B1/B2 after you applied for K-3, B1/B2 will be denied.

Please tell me what should I do?
I am now waiting for consulate approve my K3 visa (I got 221g blue slip it said no more document need, just wait for consulate contact.)
My B1/B2 visa till have validity with in 02 months. I want to go to US to do some business and visit my husband in US. What will happen to me if consulate want me to present at consulate during I am in US? Or can I receive my k3 visa in US?. ( I still left my small baby in my country during business trip)

221g means either additional documents required or simply wait for consular processing. If you have submitted all documents, all you have to do is to wait... because immigrant visas are processed by quota and in your country, waiting period could be months.
I would suggest not to travel with B1/B2 while 221g is pending, your visa may be canceled and you may be send back home on the next flight available. Be patient..

Hi, I applied for B1/B2 for business purposes, however, it didn't push through, can I still use my visa but this time for pleasure only. This is the first time I will be using it.

It depends... look under "annotation" on visa page on your passport, if there is no specific date and it's "M" or multiple entry visa, you can travel any time.

Hi, sorry for late reply. There is no annotation on my visa, and it is a multiple entry. However, do they have the capacity to view the records documented by the US embassy at the Port of Entry if they check the barcode of my visa? That is my worry, if they saw that I initially applied for B1/B2 for business purpose and then I came to US for pleasure, they might reject me. Thank you again.
