I had a company quote me on the following A/C install:

TRANE 3 Ton XR 13 SEER,
Honeywell Humidifier HE#265,
5-2-1 Compressor Saver,
Airscreen Electronic Air Cleaner,

All parts, labor with a total of $3550.

Is it a good deal?
What would you guys quote on this job?

Sorry shooter, but it is impossible to give quotes without seeing the project first hand. To many factors involved. Your best bet is to get a couple more quotes from local installers, and take it from there. Good luck and let us know how things turn out.

It is a good deal if it is brand new, and you got a warranty, and you can find someone that will do the warranty work for you.

As far as the price of instulation goes I would charge you the same price I would have after bidding your complete job less the amount that I would have had to pay the distributor to buy the equipment that you are furnishing. Plus I would not warranty anything except that my work would be done right.
