Hey guys I've recently upgraded to a 30 gal aquarium. In it I have an Affrican Clawed frog and a few small fish. I'm going to sell my smaller fish as after researching ACF's I've learned that they should not go with any fish they could fit in their mouth.

Just wondering if anybody has had any luck housing ACF's with fish? If so what kinds of fish? Also I was wanting to get an Angelfish as well as a Blood Parrot Cichlid, I figure those are too big to fit in the frogs mouth? Has anybody had luck housing these fish together?? What about to throw some shrimp in their??

Thanks

The blood parrot might do OK... The shape of their mouths cause them to be docile fish... Considering the cross... you'd think differently.

Angelfish are very fragile. If that frog chased them around or nipped at them, then the angelfish might stress and die.

Try fast fish... Like... Silver dollars, redtips, shark fishes (not balas... they get too big)... You could even dabble in South American Cichlids such as convicts, and some of the smaller SA Cichlids. Id probably stay away from neons, danios or any of the small schooling fish. Your frog might pick them off one at a time.
