We bought a new home. The house was built in 2005, but was never lived in. It was used as a spec (model) home. Hot water works throughout the house except for 2 out of the 3 showers in the home, although the sinks in each of those bathrooms have hot water. I have been reading the blogs and assume the hot water valve is clogged w/ some type of debris. What is the best way of unclogging? What tools are needed? What do you advise?
I should mention we use well water, could this be pat of the reason for the clog?
Please help!

The faucet brand is Moen, my husband is reading letters off the shower valves, and says it looks like it says SA AR? Does that sound right?

If you be able to find the model number and post it will help.

Is you shower faucet a single hand Moen, open the link below one it is open scorle down and see which one is you faucet, and the click on the Animattion Enhansed and select you faucet it will show you step by step how to remove and installl the cartridge.

If you faucet is Posi-Temp open the attachment and it will show you how to remove, clean and install the cartridge, and you don't need to post 5 times,Thanks.
