Okay so I'm not even 25 yet and I think my hair is thinning, like I know your supposed to lose safely 150 hairs a day, but I feel like my hair isn't as thick as it was when I was in high school. Should I be worried, I don't do much to my hair, I don't straighten it everyday or put product in it everyday, I do throw it up, but its never really tight.

I know a few people with thinning hair at 25-30 (even one at 19). There isn't much you can do but accept it. You can try growth enhancements and stuff like that, but unless you're going to get transplants, there isn't a sound way to do it. I suppose its probably more genetic than anything, some people do loose it due to other things, like kemo, but not many.

Sorry, and Good Luck.

Am I going to go bald or anything

I doubt that will happen anytime soon. Most people just start having thin hair. My mother's hair is only about half as thick as it was in high school, but she's been losing hair for 25 years. Most of the time it's a slow process. I know one lady who is almost completely bald, but she's near 80, and she had a full head of hair outside of high school.

You may also consider asking someone you trust to tell you straight up. You may just be being a little insecure.

I'm so freaking out! Beacause I don't want my hair to get any thinner, I throw my hair up everyday, but its never tight, and I rarely use heat on it, I don't know what to do, should I go to the hair salon and ask them what to do

That wouldn't hurt, they'll know the better products, and they would be able to tell you if you're really thinning or if you're just scared. They're the experts.

I know they will try and sell me some expensive stuff, but I know that I'm not balding or anything but I just want to make sure, because my hair is relatively healthy, I only straighten it like once every two weeks if that, and I never use a blow dryer unless I'm trying to dry in a hurry,

Look at your genetics. Does anyone in your family have thin hair?

Well my mom is in her mid 50's and she has thinner hair too, but when I asked her when her hair used to thin out she said in her 30's and I'm only 21
