Any body tried shots of Botox in underarms to stop perspiration? What was the result?
I know stopping perspiration isn't good for your body. I am talking about people who perspire excessively. Botox is used for that. I want to know if any one has tried that? Thanks have a great day!

Excessive perspiration or hyperhidrosis is a condition that can occur in your hands, feet and armpits and is known to cause severe discomfort in sufferers. Excessive armpit sweating is caused by the over stimulation of sweat glands by the autonomic nerves or other factors. But there are treatments such as antiperspirants, oral medications, iontophoresis, botox treatment and surgery that help control excess sweating.
For members who are thinking of getting botox injections, you should never receive botox if you are or may be pregnant, or are breast-feeding. Tell your doctor if you have problems with nerves or muscles, or are taking an antibiotic.
