My husband (US citizen) and I (foreigner) have marriage took place in U.S. and we bought properties under both name, we have join account ….
We applied for K3 visa in U.S, I had to come back to my country in 20 days.
I got interview after 6moths waiting here and submit all documents missing requested by consulate 1month after.
How ever, U.S consulate asks us to wait for them to contact when all step complete. We wait for over 1,5 months till now, no any contact.
We are so much worry and missing each other so much and wonder how long we much wait for the visa approval. We could not meet each other for 8 months form our marriage

Yes, 1 month and haft. I am living in Viet Nam

K-3 in Viet Nam takes about 10-12 months... sorry nothing you can do to expedite the process. What you should do is collect all evidences of relationship and contacts between you and your husband, you would need to present them to the consul at the time of the interview.

I did show them all evidences of relationship (pictures join properties, join deed, join account, chatting sheet on Yahoo, skype, phone bills we talk 2 times a day in morning and night, water bills... however they not look much, we also have many people in our family, relative... all over state signed on letter they wish us to be together soon
I was not worry so much because we love each other so much, I believe that we will get visa in the 1st day interview. However, I come join forums and see many cases they are love each other so much too and they have to wait for many years to be responded by consulate, and some case was return to U.S. It make me so much worry now and seem it is not fair for us to be together.
I hope you can tell us how long maximum we need to be waited to get respond in your experiences, what should we do if they take too long to respond. And can they say we are fake marriage same as the other case I saw in forums.

Did you get 221g? If yes, you must submit the requested documents asap... and after that all you can do is to wait. It could be 3-4 months or maybe sooner.

Thank you, I did submit them on time. I got 221g, it said no more document inquiry. They will contact us when they finish there next step.
But I am worry the time not mentioned on blue sheet. And saw some case what for some years, and finally, there document return to u.s with out reason. Consulate said there case is fake... even they are legally marriage.
Any way, we hope we are not same. We have done all consulate requested.
