Hi I'm a Norwegian citizen that have been in the US for over 5 years. I took my bachelor at Arizona state university and moved to LA for work after I graduated. I completed a year of work with OPT visa, and received a H1B visa with the same firm.

1. What tax return forms do I need to fill out this year.
2. Is there any deductions that I can file? As for example: one trip home a year.
3. I purchased a computer that I use everyday at work, can this be deducted?

1. File resident tax return Form 1040.
2. No, trip home is not deductible.
3. No. Even if you are eligible you will not be able to claim any benefit as employee business expenses is itemized deduction subject to 2% AGI limit. Your U.S. Tax Return: Itemized Deductions (http://taxipay.blogspot.com/2008/05/itemized-deductions.html)
