I had my daughter 4 months ago next week and I am nursing, I have not really had a period, but some brown and blood tinged discharge, but to day and yesterday I have had bright red blood on my pads and when I wipe, a little mild cramping hardly noticeable, is this my period returning or what the heck? I have never had bright red blood like this. Any ideas?

It very well could be your period. Breastfeeding does not make the period vanish in all women.

Unless you feel that you may be pregnant again and possibly miscarrying, I'm betting it's your period returning.

I would be extremely supprised if I am pregnant! Lol! I just kind freaked out at the bright red, I hope its my period returning, that means that according to my ob my hormones are all straightening out and that pregnancy possibly fix my PCOS!

We can hope that! I don't know much about PCOS, but I do know a gal who was cured of it after being pregnant and delivering.
