I have a Rheem Heat Pump. I had the a/c technician come out the other day for the second time to fix the unit from blowing warm air consistently. He fixed that but a new problem has risen.
I have the heater set at 67 degrees. Once the temperature in the house drops below 67 degrees, the unit cuts on. The initial air coming out of the unit is extremely cold, feels like it is in the cooling cycle. Well, the temperature begins to drop fast in the house due to the cold air circulating until it reaches about 61 degrees. Once it reaches that temp, warm air begins to blow until the set temp is achieved. Could someone PLEASE help me understand how to correct this because the technician apparently cannot.
