I recently discovered that my father had died, neither my sister or myself have had any contact with him in many years and hadn't expected too. My sister seems to have position herself as executor and asked that I sign a Bond Waiver. My concern is that this will strip me of any say in what happens with my fathers estate. My question is; What are my options concerning my legal rights with the courts?" Are their other forms or documents I should be looking at? *** "We can’t seem to find a will that says otherwise so as of now, once everything has been liquidated and his bills paid, the balance of the money will go to you and I. I’m not sure what will be left as we don’t know all his debts yet but I have hired an attorney to help. We need to have you sign a “Bond Waiver” form that can be given to the court with all the other paperwork. I will let you know more information as it arises. You can call the attorney’s office at.... " *** I Thank You for your time. Cal
