How do you know if the pressure tank is bad of if the pump is at fault. I turned on my faucet and I don't have water . The gauge at the well says 0 psi. I thought it was frozen up because of this big snow storm. But I just don't know. Can anyone give me a clue what to do next. I put a light bulb in the cement well area a few hours ago but I don't have water still.

Check pressure SWITCH to make sure contacts are closed. After that, you will need an electrical meter and the knowhow to use it. you could also check your breaker in your breaker box(electical panel). IF you are handy with a meter, let us know and we will try to help you out on this.
At this point, I quarantee the PRESSURE TANK is not your problem. Or at least not the reason you have zero psi. This is either a pump, electrical, or electrical control problem.

Hey mygirlsdad77 You were right again! It was indeed an electrical problem. I had my well guy come today and he pulled the pump and the wire had worn through about three feet from the pump. He fixed it and NOW I HAVE WATER!! THANKS AGAIN FOR TAKING TIME TO ANSWER MY QUESTIN!!
