My son is in the process of getting a divorce. He ex has accused me of being prejudice of people of color and that I was teaching my grandson this practice. Of course this is not true and she was just using anything to keep me away from my grandson. She submitted this and other untruths to the courts under penaltly of perjury. Do I have any recourse? The judge has resinded the fact that I can now care for my grandson. I feel she should be punished for the lies. Thanks for any help. Is it worth my time and energy to pursue a lawsuit?

Sorry no, there were no actual dollar losses to sue for. And he is being punished, she lost. Lying about the other partner or their family happens in ( my guess) every divorce in every court.

In my State Court testimony is cloaked - you can pretty much say whatever you want and get away with it UNLESS you are lying in criminal court.
