My Friend Jamal, where close ; Known him from a baby.He Needs Help, and I don't know what to do, with this, The Whole situation Of Law. I mainly Deal with Psychology or Realtionships.

The Situation is Jamal's Uncle That He's Been living with for 11 years found out that He was having sex with his uncles wife or Aunt threw marriage(no Family Blood). She was on sleeping pills, she wants to charge jamal with rape. With all those times they had sex, cause frankly I don't want to know, but she wants to charge him evertime they had sex. She was moving , and I was told she looked like she was apart of it too. It was all consensual or I was told. Even On sleeping pills.

Now My question, to help him is: if she tries to charge him with rape, can't she be charged? He's 16, and Its under a authority figure, would this authority figure count? And by the way he lived with her for about 10 years. Her age is 37 I think, and what would you think will happen to both of them ?

It depends,if he is every arrest he needs to keep quiet and ask for a lawyer. The police will and can lie to him, saying just tell us the truth it's not that serious, etc. He should also try and move out if it's at all possible.

I do not believe that the aunt can press charges against a 16 year old for rape as she is 37 and an adult. If anything HE can press for the rape or inappropriate actions against a minor (him) by her. If anything she is in trouble, not him. He's only 16.

It would appear that she got caught about the sexual relationship and is now trying to make it appear it was not consensual.

Repeated acts of unreported rape just does not sound consistent with reason.

I think it would be in your friends interest to get a law guardian (free service) and hopefully he will be welcomed into an environment that is healthy.

Clearly, the relationship with the uncle must be strained.
