Can a meter that the electric company reads be easily moved or moved at all? If so, is it very costly?
Thanks.

Most anything can be done - it's only a matter of how much you want to spend. There are many variables to consider - moving it to the opposite end of the house will likely cost a lot more than moving it a short distance on the same end. If your service mains come in on the opposite side of where you want the new location, it may require re-routing the service - perhaps requiring additional poles - or additional buried cable if you have underground service. Of course, the siding and possibly the roof will have to be repaired when the old service is removed. All these things add up to $$$. The only way you'll get a near accurate estimate on the costs for your particular situation is through a licenced contractor.
