Hello. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions for removing a pop up toe touch type bathtub drain. It is from the year 1997. I have removed the metal top and rubber gasket but cannot remove the white plastic part. The white plastic part has a metal center with a spot for a flat head screw driver on top. I have tried the screw driver but no luck. Admittedly I may not be strong enough. Thank you for any ideas :)
