Hiya!
I just received my bio claire lotion and oil (200ml not the serum). I read in the forums that bio claire contains mercury/steroids, however I'm not too worried about that, as I've used movate previosuly mixed with Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference, and that has been toning my skins superbly, however constant use is required, which I didn't do. VD is quite expensive, so I turned to Bio Claire and this is the first time I've used it alongside Clear Essence lightening soap. So I'll keep you all posted. Btw I've heard that the serum is pretty concentrated, so it's good, however it's drying (so is the oil :S), so I bought the lotion, which is a bit more moisturising. And as we enter Spring (in the UK), after I've applied the products I spritz on SPF 30 suncream, which is absorbs quickly and is very moisturising :D
I might start a new discussion, leaving my daily account of the products or just leave them here, if you don't mind ofc :)
Good Luck!

Thanks Misty Jane for the informative, straight to the point, and accurate post. Someone has to say it, or no one will :o. Someone needs to bring awareness with the issues of Bio Crap.. oh... I mean Bio "Claire", along with the many other steroid-based products, mercury-based, lead-based, and crap-based products and their risks... a 1/2 a teaspoon of natural extracts they may use doesn't amount to the gallon full of toxicities poured in. Lightening products need more natural ingredients for fair non-capitalist prices and elimate the bull.

ooosnowhite--you WILL be courteous in these threads.
While you've asked others to lay their research out regarding Bio Claire and its ingredients, I have yet to see YOU post legitimate research showing that it is safe, either.
You will play nice, or your posts will be deleted.

I clicked on the link and got nothing, it literally said nothing found
Have you got any other articles if you don't mind imparting your knowledge, as I too am trying out bio claire and nothing has happened to me... yet, but then again this is my second day of applying the cream.

Try this and if it still does not work then click on one of the links at the side of the page towards the bottom and then click again for "beware deceptive labelling"

Deedums07, I do not have a specific info about the exact contents of BC, but I understand that it has been independently tested and found to contain more than it actually discloses.
In my experience BC did lighten me, but it also thinned my skin and caused my veins to be clearly visible. The skin behind my knees became incredibly tender and it did make me question whether this could be all natural. I have heard of lots of people who have had bad experiences using it and I am sure if you read through some past threads you will see other peoples thoughts on this product.

Snow white, I also used bio claire and got fantastic results in a short time. However, it IS dangerous and health-damaging. Ive written a thread about Bio claire some time ago. It contains the active ingredient clobetasol propionate.
Here's the link that provides evidence. The article may be in German, but you will have no problems to find the catchwords bio claire and clobetasol propionate.
https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/skin-lightening/highly-poisonous-stop-using-bio-claire-immediately-383277.html
You shouldn't bash other users because we are only trying to help you and to prevent you from doing the same mistakes we did. And what makes you believe that the "new" bio claire is really au natural. If the company cheats on its customers once, why do you think they wouldn't do it a second time. They obviously lack ethics and morals and thus cannot be trusted no matter what.

Fortunately for me, I used BC on my legs only and the skin thinning corrected itself after I stopped using it. Where are you using the BC ? I know that products like Retin A are good for plumping the skin, but it is not just thinning you have to be careful of with BC. I have heard of stretch marks and dark marks being some of the outcomes people have experienced.

Thank you all for the information posted, it's helped me see things in perspective. I recently purchsed the lotion and the oil, and from what I've read they are not as strong as the cream, am I correct in thinking so? I don't want to come across as ungrateful, but I'm really hopful this product will work for me and I will stop once I've lightened and use a maintenance cream, I have it all planned out, honest :)
1. Use bio claire to lighten bottom, back, (front of) knees, elbows and throat.
2. I don't use it on my face, I use crusader and bu-tone
3. Once desired complexion is attained, use a mixture of Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference and either movate/fashion fair cream, or use Otenika (sp) cream.
I know that my regime can be criticised and improved, but I've seen many posts saying they use hydroquinone at percentages like 4% and 10% and surely that is just as unhealthy. But until I find a safe, reliable and effective regime, then I think I'd have to continue. Any advice would be appreciated. Ta

High percantages of hq can also be harsh and irritating to the skin. But you can't compare it to steroids. Hq has been rumoured to be carcinogenic. By now it was only with labor mices that cases of cancer occurred, never in people. I might not be a fan of hq, either. But I use it every now on than on particularly stubborn hyperpigmentation.
Steroids, however are a complete other story.
You said that you don't want to use it in your face. But you shouldn't only consider the damage it does to your face. Once in the blood stream, steroids also have a detrimental effect on your internal organs. And clobetasol propionate is one of the worst steroids conceivable. Hydrocortisone is quite potent, but clobetasol is on a totally different level. Its 600 times as potent.
Take a look at this link, if you don't believe me.
Topical steroids (corticosteroid creams). DermNet NZ (http://www.dermnet.org.nz/treatments/topical-steroids.html)
In the end its all up to you. But you don't want to ruin your health, honey.

What's up with this sudden resurgence of bio claire anyway?
I've never used Bio Claire or experienced any thinning of the skin but here is a product from makeupartistschoice.com that is might help, I guess it's suppose to fatten you up:p
EFA Cream (Essential Fatty Acids) (http://www.makeupartistschoice.com/products/EFA_Cream_Essential_Fatty_Acids-500-105.html)
What do your face, neck, décolleté and hands all have in common?
They are the primary places where your skin exposes damage and age. As natural fatty acids diminish in aging skin, cellular structures
change as we lose that fatty layer, causing thinning and wrinkling. But thanks to Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) -- the "good fats" that our bodies count on to lower cholesterol... protect against heart disease... keep us feeling mentally well and balanced... and also to keep our skin plump, supple and youthful -- you can preserve your skin's youthful "plumpness" and smoothness much longer.
No, you don't have to eat a ton of salmon... take omega 3 and 6
capsules... or completely alter your diet to improve the areas where
your skin is suffering. We've created that bridge for you with our EFA
cream.
Our plant-based EFA cream restores lost essential fatty acids back
to the skin. That "tissue paper" neck you see in the mirror...wrinkly hands... crinkly eyelids... are all areas that have lost fatty acids, oxygen and moisture.
Our new EFA Cream is a complex of 10 oils rich in Linoleic--Linolenic
acids (Omega-3 and Omega-6 oils.) These oils are supported by
additional elements that help create a fuller, smoother, plumper look
and feel to thinning skin, including: flaxseed oil, borage oil, hemp
oil, sunflower oil, rosehip oil and five other EFAs that help
rebuild the skin's molecular structure.
Light and smooth, this cream is also enriched with smoothing
emollients and pomegranate antioxidants. You can use it anywhere you
experience thinning skin, especially on the back of your hands and face. This is a light cream that absorbs into the skin easily. Use it am and pm. If you have more emollient creams you enjoy using on these areas at night, layer them on top of your EFA cream.
Hope this helps:)
And if you do try this product get back to us and report your findings.
Omega-3 and Omega-6 oils:confused: Have to look that up.
Looks to have the good oils for the skin.
