Once I replace the lower element in my water heater how do I properly bleed air out so upper element doesn't burn out?

Open the hot side of your faucets and let it run until the water flows good, Thanks.

Yep, its as simple as that. Turn on any hot water fuacet in the house until all air is bled out and you get a good stream of water. then you can turn power back on to water heater.
