I was taking Micronor.. due to headaches and irregular periods I stopped taking them.. My last period on birth control was 3 days very light bleeding. Since then I have no periods and I took a home pregnancy test a week after my missed period, which came out negative. Could I be pregnant?

I stooped taking them on Dec 18 and still didn't get my period. I did the home pregnancy test on Jan 22 which was more than a week of my missed period as I was expecting my period on Jan 15.. thnkx

It could take a couple of months for your period to become "active" again.

You see, birth control are man made hormones, and it takes a while for your body to realize that those hormones are missing and that it needs to make it's own hormones again.

Now, if you are NOT wanting to get pregnant, are you using another form of protection? Or are you trying to get pregnant?

Well right now I don't want to be pregnant as I do have a 8 month old girl.

So was just a bit nervous. Should I take another pregnancy test or the timing was good to check. And yes I am using another form of protection. Thnkz for your help :)

I understand your not wanting to be pregnant.

Again it can take a few months for your periods to be regular again. Until that time, it might be a good idea to take a HPT using first morning urine every once in a while.
