I have a March 1st 1863, State of Florida, No.2396, picture I guess of a black person.

anyone have information or a value of this I would love to know.

Hi, jeremy1992!

First, are you sure that it's genuine currency from that period, please? There have been many counterfeits made of paper currency of that period.

Secondly, I did need to remove your email address from your post. I'd hate to see you get spammed because it was exposed here. Plus, this is a public forum, and all information needs to stay on the threads so that others with similar questions will benefit by the information that's exchanged.

Now, Flying Blue Eagle is the Expert here who has the current documentation about coins and currency. Hopefully, he'll come along sometime in the near future to address your question. Although, I do know that he's been having some health issues.

I'm 100% sure it is real and not counterfeit.
