Hi there - we have a 3 knob Price Pfister shower / tub head that has been leaking and we recently replaced the stems for both the hot and the cold. It is leaking less, by about 1/2, but it is still leaking. Is there any advice out there before we move on to calling a plumber or replacing the whole works? Do you think the white tapey stuff on the threads of the stems will help? I'm wondering if anyone has any advice before we spend any more dough.

Thanks so much!

Hello MamaCo,

You still may have debris left in the Shower/Tub faucet in side or bad seats, shut the water to the faucet remove the stems inspect the seats for any scratch marks if any replace the seats if not, turn on the water for a few second to flush out any dirt, install the stems and open the link below for info, good luck.
