My property is in foreclosure. The bank has no title and neither do I. The state says there has never been any thing filed for this mobile home and as far as they are concerned it doesn't exist. The place where I got my home went bankrupt. The foreclosure letter only has a description of the land but says nothing about the home. Do I have any rights or do I lose all.

How did this mobile home get moved to the propert in the first place without the county being notified of it's arrival and placement? You need to get the serial number off your home and go down to the County Auditor's office and speak with them about this. Just because the state does not know anything about this home (as in the DMV having a valid title for it) I'm pretty sure that the County knows about it as a permit had to have been pulled allowing the mobile home on the public roadways going from one county (or state) and then entering the county where it presently resides. The Auditor's office will tell you this information plus advise you of what back taxes are presently owed by the mobile home.

The real estate is separate from the mobile home if the home is not mentioned in the real estate deed or the county says it is not mentioned in the real estate.

Where did you purchase this home from - a dealer who went out of business? Why didn't you receive a title? Was there a loan on the home at the time of the purchase that you have been paying for all along? Was it purchsaed used or new?
